Understand the Crazy Ways to Earn Money as a Student with some stories
L
Let’s just imagine this — if money isn’t important, then why does poverty still exist?
And if you still believe that money doesn’t matter, try living two months without it. See how many people truly respect you, how many friends stand by your side, and how smoothly your life runs without a single rupee.
People often say, “Money can’t buy happiness,” but I say — “Money buys freedom, options, and a stress-free life.” And I’m not just saying this — I’m living it.
Recently, I sponsored an entire trip to Mumbai for my family. I spent over ₹1 lakh — all earned by myself. And the best part? I fulfilled my mother’s lifelong dream of flying in an airplane for the first time.
Now you tell me, if I had treated money like the enemy… if I had ignored the idea of earning and just followed the crowd that says, “Be content with what you have,” would any of this have been possible? Of course not.
That’s exactly why I want your life to be different too.
I shared this story not to brag, but to show you that the person talking to you has actually achieved something — only then do I feel I have the right to share this message with you.
And believe me, this is just one of many milestones. Ever since I started working on my dreams and exploring some crazy ways to earn money as a student in 2025, my life has completely transformed.
Today, I won’t waste your time with random or unrealistic ideas. Instead, I’ll share only the most practical and effective ways to make money.
Along the way, I’ll also help you shift your mindset:
Stop seeing money as your enemy, and start seeing it as your ally—your ticket to real freedom.
And who knows—if you become a millionaire after watching this video, and you feel like saying thanks, just drop me an email.
But for now, if you’re not distracted by random videos and you’re ready to watch this fully, without skipping,
then read carefully and take this seriously—it might just change your life.
The Truth About Making Money
Let’s set one thing straight—making money is actually quite simple. The key is understanding a basic principle:
Some opportunities require financial investment, while others only require your time and effort.
To make this easier to follow, I’ve divided this post into two chapters:
-
Chapter 1: We’ll explore ways to earn money using only your skills, time, and effort—no financial investment needed.
-
Chapter 2: We’ll dive into methods that require both time and monetary investment, but offer the potential for greater returns
” Chapter 1″
First Way : How to Make Money with Just Your Efforts

If you’re in school or college, life without money feels limited. Parents may pay your fees—but not your wants like games, movies, or upskilling courses. So, how do you earn without asking them?
Simple Solution: Help with Homework & Projects
If you’re good at writing or drawing diagrams, offer to do homework or school projects for others. Some students don’t want to do the work—but they’re ready to pay for it.
Real Example: A friend charged ₹10 per biology diagram. For 100 diagrams, that’s ₹1,000 from one student!
You can do the same:
-
Homework
-
Diagrams
-
College projects
Who to Target?
Don’t pitch to broke students—target upper-middle-class or rich students who can pay for convenience.
Build a Portfolio
Start by doing 2–3 projects for friends at low or no cost. Collect:
-
Samples of your work
-
Testimonials from classmates
Once ready, share your work profile and say:
“Here’s what I do, here’s what I charge—let me know if you’re interested.”
Pricing & Income Potential
Even if you charge ₹100–150 per project/page, you can easily earn ₹10,000–₹15,000/month—no need to ask your parents.
Second Way: Make Money with Effort + Investment

Invest in the Stock Market
One of the most effective ways to earn money today is through the stock market. Thanks to technology and tools, investing and predicting trends has become much easier.
-
The stock market can generate good income and also secure your financial future.
-
Within this space, many people also try Futures and Options (F&O) trading—a form of trading where you can earn money whether the market goes up or down, and often in a short amount of time.
However, while the earning potential is high, this also requires learning, strategy, and some capital to invest.
Third Way: No Work Is Small – Start to Gain Experience

Before moving ahead, change this one mindset:
“No job is big or small — business is business.”
Whether it’s delivering food via Swiggy/Zomato or doing entry-level jobs like working at a call center, these roles may not sound glamorous but give you real-world experience that elite jobs often don’t. They teach you:
-
How to handle pressure
-
How to manage deadlines
-
How to deal with rude people professionally
-
How to communicate and present yourself
The speaker shares how his first job at a call center taught him skills that are still helping him today — even in content creation.
You might earn ₹10,000–₹15,000/month through such work, which is great pocket money without asking parents, and more importantly, it builds character.
Bottom Line:
No job is small. Every experience counts. Start something — don’t wait for the “perfect” job. What seems small today might be the foundation of your bigger success tomorrow.
The Power of Starting Small: Why No Job is Too Small to Begin With
Before we dive into the third method of earning money, it’s important to understand a fundamental mindset shift:
There’s no such thing as a small or big job — only valuable experiences.
As famously said in the film Raees, “No profession is insignificant, and no duty is greater than work itself.”
When you’re starting your career or a side hustle, don’t evaluate opportunities based on size or prestige. Begin with what teaches you the most — what adds value to your skills and confidence. If you’ve just stepped into college or are still exploring your career path, a very practical way to start is by using what you already have.
If you have access to a two-wheeler — yours or a family member’s — consider registering it with platforms like Zomato or Swiggy and working part-time. Yes, this may not sound appealing to everyone, especially those from middle- or upper-middle-class backgrounds. However, these jobs give you something far more valuable than just money — they give you real-world experience.
Experience is one of the most important assets you can build early in life.
You can’t borrow it.
You can’t inherit it.
You must earn it — by doing.
Entry-level jobs, even those considered “small,” teach you how to operate under pressure, manage time, build discipline, communicate with people, and solve problems in real-life situations. For instance, working as a delivery executive for Amazon, Swiggy, or Zomato can earn you ₹10,000 to ₹15,000 per month, which is more than sufficient as pocket money. But more importantly, you gain lessons that stay with you for life.
Let me share a personal story:
My very first job after college was at a call center. I earned just ₹8,000 per month, working long nights and dealing with difficult customers. At the time, I thought it was the lowest point of my career. But today, after several years, I confidently say that job laid the foundation for everything I do.
It taught me:
-
How to handle stress and meet deadlines
-
How to communicate clearly and professionally
-
How to stay calm under pressure
-
How to engage with senior professionals and customers with respect and empathy
No formal training taught me these skills — the job itself did.
Today, those lessons still help me as an entrepreneur and content creator. That early experience shaped my thinking, work ethic, and interpersonal skills.
So if you’re considering any job, be it in delivery, retail, customer service, or support roles — do it with pride. Every job has something to teach. And the truth is: everyone starts somewhere.
Respect every profession.
Respect the hustle.
Because growth begins with showing up — not with where you show up.
I started with ₹8,000 a month.
Today, I earn more than 10 times that.
That’s the power of taking the first step.
Fourth Way: Learn and Leverage AI (Artificial Intelligence) to Earn Big

The fourth way to make money may not be the easiest, but it’s definitely one of the most in-demand and trending skills today — and that is Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Most people have already heard about AI. Some are even afraid of it, fearing it might replace jobs in the future. But here’s a different perspective:
What if you could study AI, learn its practical skills, and use it to secure a high-paying job — even without a formal degree or certification?
Let’s break it down with a simple example.
When I create content for YouTube and need visuals or scenes, I often use AI tools. I simply give it a prompt like:
“Give me an image of a person standing in front of a beautiful sunset.”
Even more detailed instructions like skin tone, age, clothing style, lighting, etc., fall under what’s called Prompt Engineering — one of the fastest-growing skillsets today.
Now, here’s the exciting part:
If you learn how to use AI tools effectively, especially for content creation, you can easily earn ₹30,000 to ₹50,000 per month — even as a beginner.
Why?
Because every YouTuber, content creator, and business today needs visual content — and AI helps them create it faster and more affordably.
Start small by offering services to Indian clients and creators, especially through freelancing platforms. Even as a beginner, you can charge anywhere between ₹10,000 to ₹20,000 per project.
But the real opportunity lies in foreign clients.
Once you start working with international clients, your income can 10x overnight.
If you were earning ₹5,000, it could jump to ₹50,000. If you were earning ₹10,000, it could become ₹1 lakh per month.
All of this is achievable — without a college degree — if you invest time in learning tools like:
-
ChatGPT for content, copywriting, research
-
Midjourney / DALL·E / Leonardo AI for generating images
-
Descript / ElevenLabs for voiceovers and editing
-
Prompt Engineering for mastering AI communication
Learn AI not just to survive the future — but to lead it.
All the best! And if you’re ready to take this a level further — where your small efforts and smart investments can bring massive returns.
” Chapter 2 “
First Way: Become a Scriptwriter

If your interest in writing and enjoy discussing current topics happening around the world, then you have the potential to become an excellent scriptwriter. However, one important thing to remember is authenticity.
I often receive multiple emails from people asking me to write scripts for them, but many simply use ChatGPT to generate those scripts. This approach lacks uniqueness and your personal point of view — which is crucial.
ChatGPT can only provide basic information and help with research, but the content you create must come from your own original perspective. That is what will truly resonate with creators, businesses, and audiences.
Here’s a simple idea about earnings:
If you write short scripts for educational or infotainment channels — typically around 170 to 250 words for reels or shorts — you can easily earn between ₹500 to ₹2,500 per script.
If you write 15 scripts a month, that adds up to around ₹15,000 to ₹37,500 — even while you’re still in school or college.
In fact, many scriptwriters on our team are still studying in school or college and are doing well because of their strong point of view and quality writing.
If you want to level up, you can write long-form scripts — well-researched, taking 3 to 4 days, complete with case studies, references, and video clips on the Youtube Channel links that help editors create relatable content.
For these, you can charge between ₹500 to ₹2,000 per script.
Writing for five to six videos per creator, and working with three to four creators in a month, means you could be earning a significant income.
But to become a great scriptwriter, you need to master the art of structuring your scripts:
-
How to write a powerful introduction
-
Crafting a compelling hook line
-
Organizing the main body of the script
If you develop these skills, you will stand out and build a successful freelance scriptwriting career.
Second Way: Master the Art of Video Editing

Editing is often both overrated and underrated at the same time, but let me tell you — editing is truly a masterpiece game.
If you learn editing well and understand its magic, you’ll realize it’s not just about adding sound effects, photos, or videos on the screen.
The videos you watch — I personally edit many of mine — and I don’t just throw in random effects. I edit with a clear perspective to convey the intended message.
Editing is not about endlessly cutting clips or just adding flashy transitions. If the channel or creator has their own identity (not faceless), then knowing:
-
When to cut to the creator’s face
-
Which transitions to use and where
-
Which sound effects to apply
-
How to balance volume levels between background music and creator’s voice
-
Where to add text or visual highlights (raisers)
-
How to time the start, middle, and pacing of the video
-
Where and how to change the background music
These are all crucial editing skills.
I say this because I have personally edited my videos for over 2 years, and even though we now have a team, I still edit many videos myself.
If you understand all these nuances and can effectively present a creator’s perspective to the audience through your magical editing skills, then welcome to the team of creators and businesses.
For this, you need a good device — a decent smartphone can work in the beginning. But if you want to level up, since phones have limitations (small screens, restricted software), investing in a good computer is essential.
You can start with a computer costing around ₹30,000 to ₹40,000. Since this is an investment phase, earning will start as you invest in better equipment.
As your earnings grow, you can upgrade to a higher-end computer costing ₹1 to ₹2 lakhs, which will take your editing skills to the next level.
In terms of income, depending on whether you edit shorts or long videos, and how many creators you work with, the earning potential varies.
On average, a freelance editor can earn between ₹500 to ₹2,500 per reel or short video.
If you handle multiple creators, it’s quite feasible to earn ₹5,000 to ₹20,000 or more per month.
Third Point: Managing Creators — My Favorite Part

After a certain level, every creator gets extremely busy with brand deals, shooting videos, collaborations, and managing their team.
Your job is to manage this entire process for them.
For example, if a creator is promoting a skincare product, the brand might pay anywhere from ₹50,000 to ₹1,00,000 as a promotional amount.
You can charge a 10% commission on this deal. So, if the promotional amount is ₹50,000, your commission would be ₹5,000.
To earn this commission, you only need to connect the creator and the brand via a call or an email.
Initially, this might seem a bit challenging, but once you learn the templates and process, it becomes much easier.
Bonus Tip:
Most people work based on market value.
But those who work for less than the market rate while delivering great results become highly sought after.
If you can bring better brand deals to a creator than another agent but charge a lower commission — say 5-7% instead of 10-15% — creators will prefer working with you.
This creates a win-win situation — creators save money, and you earn a good commission.
Effort and Patience: The Real Game Changers
We talked about opportunities where you don’t need to invest much money — just invest your time and learn the right skills. This path might take longer and test your patience.
On the other hand, we also discussed options where you can invest some amount — like buying a course — and start earning faster.
But one thing is clear: patience is a must in every path.
If you don’t have patience, you’ll give up too soon and fall back into the usual “red race” — the traditional education system: school, college, and then becoming a doctor, engineer, or nurse.
I’m not saying these professions aren’t needed — our society definitely needs them. But what about those who want to be creative and do something different?
Thoughts Crazy Ways to Earn Money as a Student in 2025 For Connecting the p[people:
Don’t just talk about getting rich with friends who think like you.
If you ask a poor person how to get rich, they’ll tell you, but they won’t have the experience.
Connect with people who are actually making moves in life, even if they are tough or strict.
Their experience combined with your energy will create a masterpiece of fame, money, and respect.
