Now let’s start with the first way to earn ₹30,000/day:
1. Selling Stock Images & Footage.
Let’s talk about Rohit Sharma not the cricketer, but a 29-year-old from Kolkata. He never dreamed of becoming a digital entrepreneur, but one day, he became one. Born into a modest middle-class family near Salt Lake, he worked as a junior graphic designer in a small ad agency
Earning ₹25,000 per month this was in 2022. Now, along with his job, he had a passion photography. It was his weekend hobby. While roaming the streets of Kolkata, he used his old smartphone to click shots of tea stalls, yellow taxis, the river whatever he found interesting.
But in 2023, when his rent increased and financial pressure grew, he decided he had to break out of the 9-to-5 job. He came across a YouTube video on passive income ideas through stock photography – and that changed his life. In March 2023, Rohit declared he was taking a leap of faith. He saved ₹30,000 and bought a second hand camera Canon EOS 200D and a basic tripod.
With just these, he started photography. He didn’t have fancy editing software so he used free tools like GIMP and DaVinci Resolve. He watched YouTube tutorials and started editing. Then he began uploading his photos on Shutterstock. During idol making season, he uploaded pictures of streets, kids playing cricket at Park Street, trams, street food, and other everyday life scenes.
He set the price for his downloads at just ₹20 (about $0.25) and began waiting. Days passed, then weeks no sales. But after a month, his first sale came a photo of a Durga Puja pandal sold for ₹20. It may seem like nothing but for him, it was worth crores. He tweeted about it on Twitter it was a proof of concept. He didn’t stop there.
He started traveling more and focused on cultural festivals. He realized there was high demand but low supply for such photos. He began waking up at 5:00 AM to shoot places like Howrah Bridge. He uploaded 10–20 high-quality images per day. Eventually, he had 200+ assets on Shutterstock
And started earning ₹500–₹1000 per day
From 20–30 downloads.
Then came Durga Puja 2023 Kolkata was full of lights, pandals, crowds. He clicked dancers, idols, food stalls – even made 10-second videos.
He sold a video for $5 – and the demand skyrocketed. One day, he earned ₹15,000 from his photos.
He noticed that festival-related images (like Holi, Diwali, monsoons) Got the most downloads so he doubled down. He regularly received 200–300 downloads
Earning ₹15,000–₹20,000/day.
During peak season (October to December), he sometimes earned ₹40,000 in a single day. Eventually, Rohit quit his job and went full-time into this. Now, he earns an average of ₹30,000 per day, travels to new places, and follows his passion photography.
Now look friends, many people love photography they love phones, cameras but don’t upload their work. If you start uploading positively,
You can achieve a lot with minimal investment.
Now, which are the websites where you can upload photos?
1. Shutterstock |
2. Adobe Stock |
3. Blackbox (for videos) |
4. Artlist for high-quality videos and music. |
So, if you’re interested in cameras, photos, and this field, You can definitely try this out. Of course, you won’t earn ₹30,000 on day one,
But one day – just like Rohit it can be achieved. And it doesn’t stop here –
You can turn it into a full-fledged business, hire other photographers –Which I hope you’ll do in the future.
This was the first way to earn ₹30,000 per day.

Online Tutoring
Let me give you an example of a man
Ankit Gupta originally from Gurgaon, he began his professional journey in the corporate sector, where he used to earn ₹50000 per month. ₹50000 was a fairly stable and good income for him. But still, he felt unfulfilled somewhere. He wanted to make his life more impactful. He wanted to choose a career where he could create a bigger impact.
With this desire, he recognized one thing that the demand for education in the market was growing. And he had always been passionate about teaching. So, he thought, why not explore this field tutoring.
In 2022, Ankit joined Vedantu, a prominent online education platform. There, he started specializing as a math tutor, helping students prepare for JEE (Joint Entrance Examination).
When he started teaching, his hourly rate was just ₹500. He started with such a small amount. But due to his consistent dedication and effective teaching methods and his genuine passion for the work his reputation began to grow rapidly.
He simplified complex mathematical concepts, making them easy for students to understand. As a result, students really liked his teaching style. That’s when he decided to take things to the next level.
To accommodate more students and optimize his time, he started group sessions. He began charging ₹600 per student. Earlier, he used to earn ₹500 for one hour; now, by forming groups, he started earning ₹600 per student.
The number of students reached up to 50. During peak exam season, his daily income would sometimes exceed ₹30,000. On average, he taught students 5 to 6 hours a day.
Of course, not every day he earned ₹30,000. Normally, his income ranged between ₹10,000 to ₹12,000 per day. In fact, he proudly posted on LinkedIn that in 2024, his income from tutoring alone had reached ₹15 lakhs, excluding other sources of income.
So this is also a great way to earn ₹30,000 per day tutoring. If you like explaining and teaching others, then master a particular field and start teaching others the complex ideas of that field.
Yes, maybe you won’t get direct entry into Vedantu or such big platforms. But there’s one major platform where you can start for free — YouTube, the same one I’m using to teach you.
If you can build an audience here, then many such platforms will come to you offering both students and money. In fact, you can even build your own student base very successfully.

-
Practical and inspiring path for aspiring online educators

The third method involves Ritesh Kumar, a 31-year-old man living in Delhi. He previously worked as a bank clerk, earning ₹30,000 per month, and this was around 2021. While the job paid decently, it didn’t completely satisfy him. His real interest lay in stock trading. He found trading fascinating, and although he worked during the day, he would spend his nights studying trading charts. Trading interested him a lot, but it wasn’t enough to pay his bills.
One day, he came across a video about Amazon Direct Publishing (KDP). Even though he didn’t have strong writing skills, he decided to give it a shot. In June 2021, Ritesh invested ₹500 and, using the free version of Canva, created a book titled “Indian Stock Market for Beginners.” The book was only 40 pages long and covered basic concepts like how to open a Demat account and read stock charts. He uploaded the book to Kindle Direct Publishing for ₹99.
Initially, he didn’t get any sales—not in the first or second week. But in the third week, he made his first sale and earned ₹70. While ₹70 wasn’t much, he said it felt amazing because he had earned it himself. That small success motivated him a lot. He started waking up at 4:00 AM every day to write more. He created many new titles, including a 50-page book called “10 Stock Market Mistakes Beginners Make.” Gradually, he began writing many books aimed at Indian beginners.
By the end of 2021, he had published 10 eBooks. These books started selling 20 to 30 copies each day, which earned him ₹2,000 to ₹3,000 daily. But he didn’t stop there. He began running Facebook ads to promote his books further. He even created bundled offers of his books, which increased his earnings significantly. Eventually, he reached a point where he was making ₹10,000 per day comfortably. On some days, he even made ₹20,000, and there were a few days when his earnings touched ₹30,000 per day. Of course, not all of it was pure profit since he had ad expenses, but it was still a major success.
This success became so consistent that he eventually quit his job. And all of this began with a startup cost of just ₹500. So, this is another excellent way to earn money online—where, like Ritesh, you can potentially make ₹30,000 per day by self-publishing on Amazon.

Scalable and sustainable income through digital products
Sneha Patel is a 31-year-old woman from Ahmedabad. She used to be a traditional wedding planner. Her job involved setting up mandaps, organizing mehendi nights, and managing other wedding functions. By 2022, she was earning around ₹40,000 per month through offline events. However, the work was extremely exhausting. She had to work long hours, coordinate with many people, and often deal with unexpected challenges like bad weather. All of this left her feeling drained. There was one incident where she worked very hard on a wedding project, but the client cancelled a ₹2 lakh wedding event fearing another lockdown. That’s when Sneha realized that this line of work wasn’t sustainable for her anymore—she had to do something else.
She started noticing a trend on LinkedIn—many companies and colleges were focusing more on virtual events. Though she had no technical background, she decided she would learn and try this new path. In March 2023, she began learning the basics of virtual event hosting through YouTube. She created flyers using free Canva templates with bright colors and bold text—essentially, all at zero cost. She started marketing herself as a virtual event host.
Of course, the beginning was not easy. But due to her consistency, she eventually landed her first gig. She was paid ₹10,000 to host a webinar for a local startup. The event, attended by around 50 people on Zoom, went smoothly under her management. Once she realized that this was a viable career path, she started cold-pitching on LinkedIn. She began reaching out to HR managers with simple messages like, “Engage your team online—I’ll handle it.” Through this method, she got more gigs and more clients, and her business really started to grow.
Eventually, for some of the larger gigs, she began earning ₹50,000 or more per event. In fact, she reached a point where she was making ₹50,000 a day from hosting online events. Creating icebreakers, polls, and Q&A sessions became her daily routine and lifestyle. By late 2023, she mentioned that she had been paid over ₹1 lakh for a single gig by some big brands. She now does three to five events a week. Although she also uses ads for promotion, her net income during festival seasons ranges from ₹20,000 to ₹50,000 per day.
By doing all of this, she earned over ₹18 lakhs in 2024 alone. So, this is another very interesting and modern method of earning money online that I think you all can explore.

-
She now earns ₹20,000–₹50,000 per day during festivals, hosting 3–5 events a week.

In 2024 alone, she earned over ₹18 lakhs—proving virtual event hosting is a modern, high-income career.
Priyanka Desai is a 27-year-old woman living in Mumbai. She used to work in a call center where her monthly salary was ₹20,000 in 2022. But there was something she really loved—cooking. On weekends, she would try out recipes passed down by her grandmother, like dhokla and thepla. One day, while scrolling through Instagram, she noticed that many bloggers were earning lakhs of rupees. Even though she had no technical skills, she decided to give it a try. She turned her love for Gujarati food into a side hustle.
In April 2022, she launched DesiFDI.in, investing ₹5,000 in a WordPress hosting and domain. She started simply—her first post was titled “Perfect Gujarati Kadhi in 20 Minutes”, which she wrote on her phone. Gradually, she began posting more and more Gujarati recipes—undhiyu, khichdi, fafda—using just her ₹10,000 mobile phone to take pictures and upload them. She remained consistent and posted weekly.
By the end of 2022, her blog started getting approved for AdSense. When she began receiving around 5,000 monthly visitors, she started earning ₹500 daily. By 2023, when her monthly visitor count crossed 20,000, she decided to quit her job and focus full-time on the blog. She shared tips on Gujarati meal prep and other traditional food ideas.
Soon, brands started noticing her. She began receiving sponsorship deals of ₹1,000 to ₹10,000 per post. Many spice brands approached her. Her monthly traffic grew from 20,000 to 500,000 visitors, and she started earning between ₹20,000 to ₹40,000 per day through AdSense and sponsorships. She even shared her success in a tweet.
This is another very interesting way to make money online. If you also choose a niche that isn’t too saturated—like Gujarati recipes, which may not have a global audience but still has a strong community—you can create a valuable website and keep posting regularly. This too can become a great source of income.

Rahul Yadav
Rahul Yadav is a 25-year-old man who lived in Lucknow. He was a college dropout and worked several odd jobs where he earned ₹15,000 per month. In 2022, gaming was Rahul’s way of relaxing. He would spend hours playing BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India), often using his ₹10,000 mobile phone. But in 2023, Rahul noticed that streamers were making a lot of money by streaming on platforms like YouTube.
So, he thought, “Why not try this too?” Even though he didn’t have any fancy gear, he decided to go live. In March 2023, he started streaming PUBG with a handful of friends. His streams didn’t start off well—he had to place his phone on a water bottle and used ₹500 earphones. Initially, his streams would only get about 10 views and no earnings, plus there were problems with the Wi-Fi connection. But despite these challenges, he didn’t give up. He learned from various websites and YouTube videos on how to improve things like video titles and stream quality.
By June 2023, Rahul had gained 1,000 subscribers and enabled AdSense, which started earning him ₹200 per day. Through Super Chat, he also started receiving donations ranging from ₹10 to ₹500. Shruti Mishra
Shruti Mishra is a 33-year-old woman from Pune. She had a job as a data entry clerk, earning ₹400 per month. Her daily grind involved working with Excel spreadsheets, preparing them for her boss, and tracking sales. While her job wasn’t glamorous, she enjoyed using Excel because it made her work faster.
In 2023, a friend introduced her to Gumroad, a platform for selling digital products. Shruti thought this could be a good opportunity. Though she didn’t have any design experience, she started small, using Canva to create a clean layout, and made her first product—a ₹600 Excel template for small Indian business owners to track daily sales. She started selling it on Gumroad in April 2023 and promoted it via Instagram Reels. Her first sale came within a week, and she was motivated because the ₹600 she earned felt like more than a day’s salary.
This motivated her to create more templates, like expense trackers, inventory sheets, and other Excel tools for kirana stores and startups. By the end of 2023, her demand had skyrocketed, and her Instagram Reels, which showcased quick demos of her templates, went viral. She started getting 10,000 views per video, and this led her to sell 50 templates a day on some days. If you do the math, that’s ₹300 per day, which was a lot more than her job paid.
By 2024, Shruti quit her job and started earning ₹15 lakh per year, as she shared on her Instagram. Her startup costs were minimal because she already had a laptop and the necessary knowledge.
