To increase the number of sales of its cars in Africa, India and the Middle East, Nissan decided to release Navara models in South Africa.
To start production, the company will have to invest in the plant about a million dollars. This will increase the staff in the amount of 1,200 new places, and the plant itself will work in several shifts. Production of the new model is scheduled for 2020 at the plant in Rosslyn.
Peyman Kargar, chairman of the company in Africa, said that there are plants in South Africa, Egypt, and Nigeria, and will soon appear in Algeria.
Recall that at the Shanghai Motor Show, Nissan and Dongfeng will present a joint vehicle under the Venucia brand.
